NALS Certification Exams on Hiatus

All individual certification exams are on hiatus. NALS is only administering the Accredited Legal Professional (ALP) exam to school groups.


This decision has the full support of both the Board of Directors and the Certifying Board. Please note that this is a temporary pause, not a permanent elimination of our three certifications. The Certifying Board will be using this time to revise and enhance the Certified Legal Professional (CLP) and Professional Paralegal (PP) exams to serve our members and the legal community better.

Maintain Your Certification


The hiatus will not affect current certification holders. If you already maintain a certification, you will still be able to recertify every 5 years.
